Oreo Cookie Balls
Few things are sweeter than an Oreo... Except for the Oreo Cookie Ball. If you're brave enough to ride the sugar rush, this decadent winter sweet just might be the treat for you.
Best served
With a tall glass of milk and pillow for when you inevitably sugar crash from how sweet these things are. Pair it with the Happy Holiday Stu if you're feeling thirsty.
Recipe
Featured Ingredient:
- 8 oz block of cream cheese
- 36 Oreos (double-stuffed for that artery clogging goodness)
- 32 oz baking chocolate
- Toothpicks (optional)
- Place Oreos into zip lock bag and crush with a rolling pin until you have fine crumbs.
- Mix softened cream cheese into bag of crushed Oreos. Simply drop the bricks into the bag, seal, then mash with your hands.
- Take cookie mixture and begin rolling them into balls. Place on cookie sheet when done.
- Freeze cookie balls for 10 minutes.
- Pour baking chocolate into small bowl and melt.
- Use a spoon or toothpicks to dip frozen cookie balls into the chocolate.
- Refrigerate cookie balls for 1 hour before enjoying.
NOTE: Best enjoyed if stored in fridge.
